It Must Get to the Prosecutors So They Can Do Something

We hear many times that when an aide has an allegation of neglect or abuse they are fired, only to move on to the next nursing home and the next victim. The severe cases get in the news and prosecuted. However, any neglect or abuse suspected should be investigated, even if the employee is fired or quits. That does not stop them from being accountable. So, to get those that have neglected or abused anyone in long term care, we need to start with calling the police out to the facility.
