Feds Acting on Illigal Discharges, Great Article by AARP

For many of us, nursing homes try to discharge the residents that speak up or have family members that do. As the article states, it should be rare that a nursing home cannot provide care needed. This is even a larger issue in Assisted Living Facilities. It seems as soon as they have to do what they are paid to do and someone speaks up, they suddenly can’t provide care. The Assisted Liivng Faciliites will keep them as long as they get paid and provide next to nothing in personal care. A flag should go up as to whether they truly can’t provide the care or don’t want to. Good artilce by AARP here
